Enzymes are specific biocatalysts, which are necessary for a healthy life and good wellbeing. In the human body, there are over 1000 enzymes responsible for a number of metabolic processes. A specific group of enzymes is digestive enzymes which, as the name itself indicates, are responsible for digestion.
